The 2007 KNBR/BASHOF Auction: A Victory for Bay Area Youth Sports!
The 2007 KNBR Auction was held November 30, 2007 at the Acme Chophouse at AT&T Park, and was an enormous success! The auction surpassed last year's donations
by raising over $283,450 for youth sports in the Bay Area.
A major highlight of the 2007 KNBR/BASHOF Auction was the Golden State Warriors Package, which included a luxury suite at the Warriors/Celtics game, a
post-game suite at the Ritz Carlton, the game ball and jerseys of Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, & Paul Pierce, floor seats, as well as a round of golf with
Nellie and lunch with Stephen Jackson, and went for $50,000!
The sports auction donations will help Bay Area schools, and boys and girls clubs purchase much needed sports equipment and uniforms, providing young
people the opportunity to participate in athletic programs. As we well know, kids who play sports lead better lives.
We are grateful for everyone who participated and supported the KNBR/BASHOF auction. With your help we're able to continue the great legacy of supporting
Bay Area youth sports. It is truly an exciting and worthy event!
With sports revenues being cut in schools, the need for sports uniforms and equipment is great. If you're interested in donating to this great cause,
