Orlando Cepeda

Joined the San Francisco Giants as a rookie in 1958 and was selected to the All-Rookie Team. Batted .307 in his seven seasons as a Giant and led NL in homers, 46, and RBI’s, 142 in 1961. Selected to the 1963 All-Star Team. Played 17 years in the Major Leagues with a .297 batting average and MVP award in 1967 with the St. Louis Cardinals. Enshrined in the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1990.
