Gino Marchetti

 

A member of the University of San Francisco undefeated in 1951 team. New York Yanks number-two draftee in 1952. Team moved to Dallas in his rookie season. With Baltimore Colts from 1953 to 1964, returning for the 1966 season. Elected to Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972. Named top defensive end of NFL’s first 50 years. Selected for a record 11 consecutive Pro Bowls. All-NFL seven years:1957 to 1962 and 1964. Enshrined in the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1985.
