Bruce Jenner

 

Jenner lived in San Jose where he trained at the San Jose Community College Track. In 1975, he established a world record of 8,524 points in an international meet at Oregon UniversityÕs Hayward Field. Gold Medal winner in 1976 at Montreal with world record score of 8,634 points. Winner of the Sullivan Award and Associated Press Athlete of the Year Award in 1976. Elected in the Olympic Hall of Fame in 1986. Enshrined in the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame in 1994.
