John Lambert
John Lambert is a native of Northern California and attended Berkeley High School where he was the recipient of many academic and athletic awards. John was recruited by over 100 colleges and universities and attended the University of Southern California. While at USC, John, was the Gimble Award winner for academic excellence and the recipient of an NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship, one of only twelve that are awarded nationally. He was also an Academic All-American. Upon graduation from USC in 1975, Mr. Lambert was the first round draft pick of the National Basketball Association’s Cleveland Cavaliers. John played in the NBA for the Cavs the Kings and the Spurs before finishing his professional sports career in Venice, Italy.Since retiring from professional basketball, John has maintained his association with sports by providing color analysis for various events. Mr. Lambert has worked for ESPN, ABC, USA Network, Prime Ticket, Raycom, KICU TV, KRON as well as several other television and radio networks. John has launched several profitable business ventures and is currently a Principal with KCM Investment Advisors. KCM is a portfolio manager based in northern California that works primarily with high net worth individuals and their families. John has a passion for young people and devotes much of his time to youth groups. He is an accomplished speaker and is often asked to speak at business gatherings, community functions and fund-raising events. He is passionate about his family and is also an avid golfer. |
