Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame Youth Fund Grants
- The Process
Grant applications are due by January 31, 2010. This is a firm deadline as we must meet with our grant committee to review the applicants and finalize the grants. BASHOF Youth Fund Grants are for sports equipment and uniforms only. We do not fund capital projects or activities unrelated to sports.- To submit an application for a 2010 BASHOF Youth Fund Grant, please download and fill out the grant application in its entirety. Schools must also submit a completed school form with their applications to be considered for a grant.

- Written price quote from distributor, store, or a reputable sports equipment supplier
- State and federal tax-exemption letters
- List of board of directors and officers
- Current itemized budget
- Financial statements of previous two years
- How to submit your application and supporting documents

BASHOF Grant Criteria
- An organization must serve either the entire Bay Area (i.e., the eleven counties of the Bay Area), or must provide athletic activities for a significant number of youths annually in at least one Bay Area county.
- An organization must be engaged in youth athletic activities during non-school hours.
- An organization must have a minimum three-year history and must be a certified 501(c)(3) organization (exempt from state and federal taxes).
- An organization must provide an itemized annual budget and financial statements to include projected sources of funding and items of expense.
- An organization must demonstrate the ability to maintain adequate security for the equipment purchased.
